A royal turkey...made by a princess!
Missy doesn't like pumpkin pie so Holt, Adly and I made her a pumpkin pie look alike...sugar cookie cake!
Holt had to disguise a turkey at school. He decided to turn him into Tony Romo...sling and all! (See, B? pretty authentic!)
Had to throw this one in here...Missy's been crafting this for 35 weeks!!
This was my favorite craft of the season. I played art teacher one Saturday morning. LOVED it!!!
Here are our supplies (well, most of them)...canvas, acrylic paint, silk leaves, little birdies, wooden sunflowers & brushes...oh and hot glue of course!
We painted the canvas then drew our trees. Holt is filling his in w/ the base color here.
I taught them about texturizing. We wanted our trees to actually look like they had bark. They loved this and were pretty good at it.
We painted the grass next...a lesson on brush strokes, thin versus thick. Then we glued the leaves, sunflowers and birds on the tree.
Seriously, my favorite craft ever. They were so proud and turned out so pretty!! (Hard to tell by their fake smiles though!)
This is all so cute! I wish I was as crafty as you. You think of everything! And what a great sport Missy is for real! That is adorable!
