A speeding ticket!

I got a speeding ticket yesterday! ugh! It is my first speeding ticket (in TX). I got one in college on campus going 4 over...they dismissed it. The other was in New Orleans...but that was a college trip w/ a bunch of girls...I was stupid. This time I was going w/ the flow of traffic! Anyway, I was going 10 over...not too big of a deal. However, I had Adly and her sweet friend, Nealie w/ me! They hardly noticed. They talked to each other during the whole thing. When the cop left, all Adly said was "Mom, is a cop the same thing as a police officer?" Here's the conversation w/ Holt...
Mom: "Something happened to me today that I'm sad about."
Holt: "Well, what was it?"
Mom: "I made a bad choice. I got a speeding ticket."
Holt: "You're kidding? Well, don't speed any more and that won't happen."
Mom: "That's true, but I'm still sad that it did."
Holt: "Mom, don't be a baby about it." Then walks away...
