Busy, busy, busy...

I know that's no excuse, but it's true right now.  A few quick things and I'll upload more Disney pics and current happenings asap....
*My "s" on my keyboard isn't working very well and it's o annoying!
*I'm almot finished w/ The Help.  I'm not a big novel reader, but LOVE this book and can't wait to see the movie.
*Holt lost his second tooth today!!  He's loving first grade and so am I!!
*Adly met her Pre-K teacher today.  I can't believe we have 1 year until she's in the system! :(
*I miss my nephews...I think it's been ince Saturday. :(
*Holt made up a joke..."What did the mommy poop say to the baby poop when they were playing?"  "Peek a POO!"

My friend, Brandie, told me about the penny presses they have everywhere.  We bought a book and hunted them down everywhere we went.  They loved it!!

 Goofy's Kitchen was so much fun!  Pluto was the funniest. 

 The princesses were her favorite, of course! Snow White was our first!

 Adly was in awe of all of the characters.  She played to everything they wanted her to.  It was precious!!

 It's a small world...my FAVE!!  It's just such a happy place in there.

 We did not ride the tea cups b/c John and I both would have vomited, but we got this cute pic in one!

This sums up the end of day 1!  It takes a lot for this little hard headed boy to fall asleep in someone's lap.  Day 1 was FUN!!

 I have a jacket on!  It was perfect weather...to watch the fireworks that they didn't see!

FIRST grade!!

Holt started first grade!  He got Miss Terrazas (my college friend and colleague for 6 years!)

 While Holt was gone Adly said, "I miss Holt, but I've had a lot of fun today."  That made me smile.  Her heart is too sweet to say, "I love Holt, but he bugs the s*^t out of me! I've had fun b/c he started school."

 & played some more...she was so happy w/ her house wide open to her imagination!

 Got this on the first day of school.  I did a project like this when I was a teacher, for the first day.  But, it means so much more now!!  A keepsake for always!

I sure do love my little man!

p.s.  Mimi, you were right...Adly and I look like we don't have any hair, but it's b/c we have ponytails!

First flight was perfect.  They loved it!

Here they are ready to hit the big D!  Califormia weather is unreal! 

Everything is lush and green and it feels like heaven...all day long!

 You could spend some big bucks here...

 My favorite site at Disney!  Look at Walt there at the bottom w/ Mickey.  It's just priceless!

 First really cool ride!  We loved this Toy Story one.

 Nemo Submarine

 Star Wars 3D and interactive...you know where it moves you all over too?  It was awesome.  They have between 70-80 different shows you can see...so you could do it all day.  We only did it twice, but LOVED it!!

Monster Truck JAM!!!

Seriously!  Yes, we went to Monster Truck Jam (good job, Stacey)!  I still can't believe it.  Honestly, the kids thought it was really cool.  After about 15 minutes, I think the adults in our group had seen all we needed, but that's okay.  We were patient through the entire 2 plus hour show!!

Here are the 4 sweet kids we took.  Avery is the cutie pie in the front...she's Holt's bud.

 Here's El Toro Loco...doing his stuff.  This was a competition...seriously.

 Here's our fave...Grave Digger.  Ye-ah!!!  Serious donuts!

 This was the kids' favorite part.  Honestly, it was hilarious.  A car (that looked a little like night rider) transformed into this 80s looking robot and claimed to save the world from evil.  Again, they loved it, so we were all happy to be there.

It's always fun, no matter what we do, when we're w/ the J family.

Even Monster Truck Jam...maybe we'll take on WWF or Cage Fighting next time. ;)

Our first lemonade stand was profitable!! 

We even found a shady spot across from Missy's house.  Still hot as you know what, but so FUN! 

The kids (w/ Finn & Scout), made their own lemonade signs and shouted "Lemonade" while waiting for customers.

 They took turns serving and taking money.

 Holt had to stand out...Lemonhead mask...made all by himself. (maybe he's crafty like his momma)

John says next time we should have them pay for supplies too...then they'd really understand how it works.  Not sure if they'll buy into that just yet.  :)

Our week...

Holt decided he wanted his own pet to care for.  We told him he had to pay for it.  So, first he wanted a bearded dragon (too expensive and too advanced for a 6 year old).  He settled for this pretty Betta fish.  His name is Bobby the Blue.  He loves him and has fed him by himself, everyday.

I was pretty proud of my score...100 pin bowling on the Wii.  He's good...but I'm almost there! :)

I was so pumped to have lost by only 1 point!!!

It's hilarious to hear him talk trash.  I love that time w/ him.

 Anyone else love Sonic as much as me? (Besides Missy, Diana and of course, my Sonic buddy, Jessica.)  I love it so much that I actually befriended a very sweet woman who brings me my drink on most days.  Her name is Karen.  We know about our vacations this summer and our families, etc.  It's hilarious.  I love Karen...& SONIC!

 We did a kid switch yesterday.  This is what happens when I let my sister be w/ my kids...they love it!

When we got home Adly asked, "Mom, do you need to go potty? Because if you do, you're gonna laugh your head off!"  This is SO Missy (& Holt).
