Solution...

I know this nap thing is no big deal to most people, but to me, it is...so I'm blogging on it for a bit. So, I've decided to put her down earlier than she really needs to go down so that she can just rest...if she falls asleep, great, if not, she's had some rest time. If I put her down later she'll sleep for 2 hours and her night time sleep will be shortened. So, today she "rested", aka: talked and sang in her bed for about 35-40 minutes. Then I went in and she said she wasn't tired (expected). So, I told her how her big boy brother has "quiet time"...that's what bigger kids do. She seemed very intrigued. I told her she could play anything she wanted in her room quietly and I'd be back soon to tell her quiet time was over. She smilingly agreed and I closed the door behind me. 25 minutes later I went in to a smiley girl happily playing...yay!! We watched Dora after that, of course! So, I think I'm just going to continue to go w/ the flow even though I know she'd keep taking a nap from 2-4 probably until she's 4, but it works out better this way...I think. So, until more nap drama...
