Happy Ball!!
Note of emotion...
Holt & daddy play "hockey" almost every day. It's a crazy, sweat fest for John and it wears Holt out too. They play it in the living room by kicking this little yellow ball around. You'll hear "Face off, center ice" or "roughing, penalty box" or any other hockey game phrase on any given day. It's awesome, Missy and Davey join in too! The problem is, Holt never wants it to end...& he hates to lose!...which is something we are working on. But, in hockey, he does lose every once in a while. On this particular day, the game was over and he had lost. He demanded a rematch, but it was getting late and daddy said no. So...he ran in the other room and drew this! Immediately we thought it was a big mean daddy head and little, sweet Holt head...but no, he had drawn himself pissed about having stop and the yellow, happy ball! How cute (& sad) is this!! He often draws his emotions and we try not to laugh...he is serious!
