Thank you...

My friend, Amy, took our family picture this morning. She did an awesome job and was sweet enough to send us a little sneak peek. Thanks, Amy! Can't wait to see the rest.

However, while looking at this picture I thought of how precious life is and how short it is and how you need to take each moment to heart. It was nice to come home to see this picture after the sad afternoon...this pic and my sweet friends helped me through.

A friend lost her nine year old baby boy this week in a tragic event. She laid him to rest today and all I could do was pray for them and thank God for those people in my life. His funeral was beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time. Thank you for the phone calls, texts & emails today...it really helped me. It's hard to even fathom what the family is going through right now and how they'll move on. I almost felt selfish coming home and relishing in the precious lives in my home. Thank you to everyone who have been praying for the Smith family...I know they feel it! Rest in Peace, Kaden.
