Random talk...

On the way home from football practice...
Holt: "Mom, when I grow up I'm going to have a big boat."
Mom: "Cool! Will you take me and daddy on it?"
Holt: "Of course!"
Mom: "How about Adly?"
Holt: Looks over at his sweet sister and smiles, "we'll see"
Mom: "It takes a lot of money to buy a boat."
Holt: "Yeah, I know. I'm gonna have a lot of money b/c I'll work at HEB."
Mom: "You might need more money than that, boats are expensive."
Holt: "Uh, I'll own an HEB. I'll have a lot more money then."
(Smart kid! Later he says he'll also be a daddy, a coach and a chef...he'll be raking it in!)
Adly says "I just want to be a pretty mommy that squishes bad bugs so my babies won't get stung!"
I LOVE my kids!!!!!!!!! I hope we always have these "deep" conversations.
