So, Holt clearly doesn't believe in the Easter bunny, but loves the concept. He asked if the same guy that dresses up at the mall is the same guy that brings you eggs or if that's something mommy and daddy do?! He also told me that the Easter bunny came to school today and will come again tomorrow, but he thinks it's Mrs. Cox or Miss Jennifer dressed up. That kid! I mean, come on! He's 5, isn't it supposed to be easier to convince him of a large rabbit hopping around your yard and delivering plastic eggs filled w/ lots of useless, but fun junk on Easter? Well, I sort of tried. I said, "Oh, the guy at the mall dresses up, but the real Easter bunny is who leaves the eggs." His response...a shoulder shrug and "nah". That's it, easily put by Mr. Holt himself! He knows the true meaning of Easter and that's what is most important...but I made sure he knew not to ruin the bunny part of it for Adly. I love that little man!
*p.s. I have lots to post, but have just been too lazy to upload my photos. I've been enjoying reading all my blog friend's updates though!
I believed in Santa for WAY too long. I think I was 10 and my dad finally said "Allena, he's not real" I cried! Ha! Some kids just like the fantasy more than others. :)
