I love to blog...

but I've been busy during the "rest time" of the day w/o children making phone calls to the stupid claims adjuster who is an a*# himself, but whatever, maybe that's in their job description. Adly and I were involved in a side impact car accident this past Wednesday. Not our fault and not our side of the car...both of us were on the left...thank God and thank God that Holt was at Lunch Bunch.
A car is a car, but boy do I miss my Tahoe! All six side airbags deployed and even though we were pushed into what would have been oncoming traffic, there was none...thank God again! My very good friend Diana was meeting us for lunch to celebrate sweet Jess' (Adly's best friend) birthday...but instead she headed my way and saved our day. Adly was so happy to have a familiar car to get in to. Again...thank God!
So, while I was cleaning out my car (which took a lot of time and a lot of space in Diana's nice, neat car) I took my cd's & dvd's out and underneath was one of my favorite books, The Last Lecture. It all became very clear to me that that book was there for a reason. I quickly reflected on the amazing lessons Randy Pausch taught in that book and again...thank God! I know it's a lot of holy rolling, but hey (it's Holy week, right?), the week before, our house was struck by lightening and we were all okay then too...so, I'll be back to real life blogging and regularly downloading photos as soon as the a*# of a claims adjuster calls me back and I get this wreck business solved. Again, I love blogging!

  1. Oh my gosh. I am so happy that you & the whole family are all OK after that (BOTH the lightning strike & car accident). Things can be replaced. People cannot.
