Halloween dress rehearsal story.
Both kids got fully dressed in their costumes this afternoon. We even drew a dirty, pirate's beard onto Holt. They played around for a while and Adly asks to hold the pirate hook. Holt hands her the hook and she turns to me w/ the hook in hand and says "Look mommy, I'm a pirate hooker." hahahahah!!! Again, I had to turn away laughing! Kids say the funniest things and they don't even know it...glad I'm blogging to remember them!
Halloween for dinner...
I made Holt and Adly some "Halloween dinner" this evening...aka needed a quick fix for dinner. I added a drop of orange food coloring to the eggs and cut out a ghost toast w/ raisin eyes. I should have put raisins on the carrots to look like fingers! Spooky! They loved it!
The Train Gang...

"Hmmm...where was I? Oh, yes, this duck call is the one I like." Holt brought his Cabela's catalog on the train for some light reading.
Adly says, "Kamdyn, you don't eat the train tickets." Adly and I were lucky and got to sit w/ Kamdyn!
The Cedar Rock Railroad again! We love this little train. We got to enjoy our pretty Sunday w/ our good friends...Miss Mary, Kamdyn and newborn Brinkly and Miss Nicole and Lucas! What a fun time! The tunnel was all decked out for Halloween too. 
Oh my gosh...love the ghost toast...so creative!
