Pebble Mosaics

We made these cute little pebble mosaics today. They both loved it...it was cooking and art all together. The recipe was simple and I had all I needed in my pantry.
*food coloring
*3/4 cup water
*1 1/2 cups flour
*1 1/2 cups salt
*1 tbs vegetable oil
*small pebbles or stones
Add few drops food coloring to the water. Mix water w/ flour, salt & oil.
Knead dough until smooth (almost play-doh/ cookie dough combo feel).
Roll it out to about 1/2 inch thickness, cut out circles w/ wide-mouth glass, then have kids press pebbles or small stones (you've collected beforehand) into the clay win whatever design they like.
Place dough on baking sheet and bake at 250 for 20-30 minutes or until hard.
