This is my son...

On the way to school today (it was just Holt and I), we were listening to Christmas tunes. Little Drummer Boy came on (one of my favorites) and Holt says to me, "Mommy, this song is just like what you told me...that boy doesn't have anything to give Him so he's going to play his drum. That's giving something from your heart and not buying something, right?" He pulled that message that I have tried to repeat to him (especially during this time of year) and found it's meaning in a song. How amazing is that?! I love my Holtie...that melted my heart. It was a conversation I'll always remember and yet I didn't tell anyone about it today b/c I knew it would make me cry. Tis' the Season...
