Merry Christmas!

I LOVE art...every part of it.  However, photography has always been hard for me to really grasp.  I know if I studied it more I could get it.  Unfortunately, I have no time...if you are a mommy you know exactly how I feel.  So, I just play around and every once in a while you get a good shot.  I think this one turned out pretty good!

Brunch at Cimarron w/ Mimi & Biggin'!

Every year we go to a brunch w/ Santa.  This year we had to enjoy it w/o Missy and Davey, but for good reason.  Next year R & R can come too!

Even though, when Holt first saw Santa this time he said "Mom, his beard is fake!"....he still told him all he wanted for Christmas.

I can't love these little men any more than I do.  Seriously!  I love them so much!!   

Missy and Davey are doing really well.  Especially w/ the help of so many wonderful family members and friends who have been so supportive.  They've been well fed since they got home, that's for sure.  They just sunk right into parenthood as I knew they would.  It's been fun spending so much time w/ them (what's new) and my mom since they got home.  H & A have been there almost every day too!  It's everyone's new favorite thing to do, "Let's go see the babies!"

Finally! They've been done for quite a while, but I'm just getting to photographing them...these pics don't show all their glory, but they still look pretty dang cute!

Details...

Missy's water broke around 10:30 Sunday night.  We (Missy, Davey & me!) went to the hospital.  Mom, Belinda & Mariana (David's mom & sister) met us there.  She went right into labor.  Ren was breech so a c-section was imminent.  During the hour and a half of prep time (her doctor came in even though she wasn't on call to deliver these cuties!), she went into full labor.  All the way up to contractions less than a minute apart.  That part sucked, but she did really good.  Didn't even make any noises.  She said she's sort of glad it happened that way b/c she felt like she did a little of both delivery options! 
Anyway, the c-section went well...we saw the babies around 1:30.  She was 35 weeks and a few days.  Because they are so big for 35 weekers and breathing and eating so well, no NICU is needed.  Hopefully it stays that way.  They sure are precious!  I think about them constantly!!!

They're here!!

It finally happened...my babies met hers!!  It was so sweet!  My heart literally grew when I saw these two at the 1am hour last night!

Aren't they so sweet?!  Healthy, happy twin boys!  Wow!!

Missy is doing great!  I can't believe one of the last pictures I took of her belly was the turkey one!! :)
