Now that December has begun, Thoughtful Thursday starts...the name is new, but most of the concept is not. Every December we usually cook/bake things for community helpers (firemen, dr., teachers, vet, etc.) & deliver them. But this year we are adding making something for someone. We'll do some sort of craft and on that day, all we make goes to others. They can pick anyone to send them to, but it's all about being thoughtful...which is hard to teach and so important to learn! We talked about what being "thoughtful" meant. They did good!

We also started our advents yesterday. The new addition is these cute books...
The first page is a cute advent, then there are tons of stickers for cute Winter/ Christmas scenes. They LOVE them!! I've gotten Adly the dress up books of these and they entertain and help fine motor skills. Really cute!!! I've only seen them at Learning Express. This one is from Usborne books.
