I was cleaning up in the kitchen while the kids were playing. Here's what I heard....(This is hilarious and a little strange, but if you know who've they've been around a lot lately, it'll make sense.)
Holt: "Adly, don't come in here right now. You're the mom so you're supposed to be home doing laundry and taking care of the baby." (He was in the playroom and she was obviously supposed to be in her room...their "home". He's got to learn that women can bring home the bacon too!)
Adly: "Holtie! but, I work too. I need someone to take care of the babies while I work and I have to pump!" (You go, girl!)
Holt: "Okay, let me set up the pump room for you." He goes into the bathroom and sets up a stool, a few baby bottles and they use her bird night light as the "pump". Adly goes in and holds the bird up to her nips and says "shhh, shhh, shhh," (that's the pump sound).
Adly: "Okay, Holt. The babies can eat now."
They both take a baby each and sit down to feed them. How funny and cute is this?!!! I'm just glad Holt will play dolls w/ her. Thanks to my sister for the inspiration!!
At least he understands the concept of BOTH the man and the woman taking care of babies. He'll get the bring home the bacon part eventually - especially if he marries a woman who stays home with their kids. They are SO cute!
