"You're not a very good blogger any more."

That's what my sister told me this evening! So,...(while I stay up late to do this b/c I don't want to be a bad blogger) let me give you an update of our last 10 days (b/c Missy doesn't know what we've been doing!)...

Holt & Daddy played more golf & celebrated Bert's BBQ's 40th b-day!

We hung w/ cousins at the lake...
Holt had a minor procedure...
We got haircuts...

Washed some baby gear for someone!

Went to the Texas Memorial Museum...fun!

Sean & Holt are studying a real paleontologists' desk!

He can't help it...she's just so darn cute!

We made pink foam peanut art (yes, I keep random junk for this kind of stuff!)...

Noodle art (by the way, this is a "combine"...see the front and the rice is in the storage at back...pretty creative!)

Adly & I helped ring in Denali's 1st birthday! Isn't she cute!?

and we released them!

Holt helped Davey grill his famous fajitas!

Holt & Adly got to see their cousins!

We shopped for and bought a new big boy desk for an almost kindergartner!!

We made masks for friends...

We went to Cameron Park Zoo (our favorite zoo!)...w/ our Mimi!

& we painted a birdhouse!

Oh and we had a long talk about what mammals are and that spurred a very interesting conversation. Holt needed me to know that "like squirrels, people feed their babies milk from their bodies." "Yes", I said "you know Miss Mary feeds Brinkley that way." "Did we do that? and did I like it?" asks Holt. "Yes, you ate that way when you were little. Yes, you liked it." I said. "But did I drink from your boob?" he asks. Why I went on is a mystery..."Well, sort of. I pumped (explained this) and gave it to you in a bottle b/c you didn't do very well on the boob." "Oh,... well, did Adly like your boobs?" he says. "Yes, very much...she was good at it." I say. (why am I explaining this part?!). "Okay, well, can I see Miss Mary feed Brinkley sometime?" he asks. "Well, I'm sure you might sometime." I conclude.

I text Mary "Holt knows that, like squirrels, you feed B your milk and he wants to see you do it!" Mary's text, "Glad I could be of help along w/ the squirrels...does he really want to see her eat or is he like most dudes and just wants to see some boobs?" :)

Life is good and very BUSY w/ these little people...as most of you guys know!
