A hurt worm...

Holt came running in from riding his bike (his daddy was outside w/ him of course) and said "Mommy, can I have a band-aid? A worm is cutted outside." His face was precious...I captured it because I wanted to remember it. Look at this helmet and glasses! Love it!

Anyway, I explained that worms can't wear band-aids and went outside to see him. To say the least the worm was not in the best shape. Although I didn't want to, I picked the worm up and put him in the grass and told Holt he'd heal himself and burrow down into the dirt. He smiled and made touching the bloody worm totally worth it!
