Day 2...Disneyland!

This was the big river ride.  Both kids loved it!  It was cold!  I wore purple undies and you could see through my skirt when I got off.  nice!

 Adly and I really loved this ride.  It was Ariel's story.  So pretty!

 All of our prizes!  & yes, I'm wearing a Mickey Shirt.  Thought it would never happen, but you have to in Disney, right?  It's vintage!

Here at Ariel's Grotto we had a lovely (insanely expensive, but happy to pay b/c of the experience) dinner.  We saw and got autographs from all princesses except for Tiana.  Not sure where she was off to!

 Mulan is Adly's current fave.  Although the movie is a little too scary.  But, what isn't?!

Holt wanted to be in the pictures but he wasn't all that pumped about the princesses.

 This little town was so fun!  The show especially!

 Our first time at a Rain forest Cafe.  Fun!!

 Adly's is star struck!!  So many princesses!!  We saw Tiana on the float!!

 World of Color was amazing!!!  Water/Light show...wow!!  Never seen anything like it.  Disney knows what they're doing.

Adly Update...

1st day of Pre-K!!  I can't believe it!!  She was so excited and has 2 of her best friends in the class.

Chick Fil A teacher/student dinner! We love Hope and Mrs. Garrett!!

Update...

John did a draft where he included H & A.  It was pretty funny.  They seemed to be really into for the first 30 minutes.  He loved that.

 Look at baby Romeo.  He's sooooo sweet!! (Happy B-day, Brandie!)

 Adly and Jess had a playdate at the "beach".

 They got serious about it after a while.

 Adly started soccer!!!  She has 3 of her sweet girlfriends w/ her.  It's gonna be a great season!!

Busy, busy, busy...

I know that's no excuse, but it's true right now.  A few quick things and I'll upload more Disney pics and current happenings asap....
*My "s" on my keyboard isn't working very well and it's o annoying!
*I'm almot finished w/ The Help.  I'm not a big novel reader, but LOVE this book and can't wait to see the movie.
*Holt lost his second tooth today!!  He's loving first grade and so am I!!
*Adly met her Pre-K teacher today.  I can't believe we have 1 year until she's in the system! :(
*I miss my nephews...I think it's been ince Saturday. :(
*Holt made up a joke..."What did the mommy poop say to the baby poop when they were playing?"  "Peek a POO!"

My friend, Brandie, told me about the penny presses they have everywhere.  We bought a book and hunted them down everywhere we went.  They loved it!!

 Goofy's Kitchen was so much fun!  Pluto was the funniest. 

 The princesses were her favorite, of course! Snow White was our first!

 Adly was in awe of all of the characters.  She played to everything they wanted her to.  It was precious!!

 It's a small world...my FAVE!!  It's just such a happy place in there.

 We did not ride the tea cups b/c John and I both would have vomited, but we got this cute pic in one!

This sums up the end of day 1!  It takes a lot for this little hard headed boy to fall asleep in someone's lap.  Day 1 was FUN!!

 I have a jacket on!  It was perfect weather...to watch the fireworks that they didn't see!

FIRST grade!!

Holt started first grade!  He got Miss Terrazas (my college friend and colleague for 6 years!)

 While Holt was gone Adly said, "I miss Holt, but I've had a lot of fun today."  That made me smile.  Her heart is too sweet to say, "I love Holt, but he bugs the s*^t out of me! I've had fun b/c he started school."

She played...

 cooked blueberry muffins for her bro.

 & played some more...she was so happy w/ her house wide open to her imagination!

 Got this on the first day of school.  I did a project like this when I was a teacher, for the first day.  But, it means so much more now!!  A keepsake for always!

I sure do love my little man!

p.s.  Mimi, you were right...Adly and I look like we don't have any hair, but it's b/c we have ponytails!
