Cookie Fun w/ Holt's class

I got to read AND do an activity w/ Holt's class. I LOVED it!!  Every minute!  Seriously made me miss teaching.  But, maybe the part I really love is seeing him w/ his class.  It's so special to be a part of that.  Feeling so blessed by this...

Pumpkin Painting...

We painted pumpkins w/ our cutie friends today...

Adly's was jeweled & funky!

 Avery's was a girlie witch (w/ a wart on her nose, of course!).

 Cole decided on a "buck toothed Abe Lincoln".  Don't they look like twins?

(side note: he's a really cute kid...promise!)

 & Holt's was drawn and thought out first then created.

Love to watch and hear their creativity.  All do different...so fun!

Disney Day 3...& off to L.A.!!

On the last day we did lots of things, but this was one of the highlights!!  The Disney parade is magical!  I won't bore you w/ tons of parade pics...

 but, this Tiny's expression let's you know just how magical it was!

 We left Disney & headed to our friend's home in LA.  It's beautiful there!! 

We headed straight for the beach.

Here are our sweet friend's we came to visit (sans baby Austin, who was resting w/ his Mimi away from the sand and surf). 

Kameron, Caleb & sweetie pie, Avery (who was not a fan of the ocean).

 The water was freezing, but THEY didn't care.  I put my toes in and that was enough.  But it was beautiful!

 Here's Caleb's Daddy, PaPa.  My kids loved him!

 Here is little Austin.  Precious baby boy!!

 We all kissed and hugged him as much as we could.

Adly and Avery were fast friends...

Day 2...Disneyland!

This was the big river ride.  Both kids loved it!  It was cold!  I wore purple undies and you could see through my skirt when I got off.  nice!

 Adly and I really loved this ride.  It was Ariel's story.  So pretty!

 All of our prizes!  & yes, I'm wearing a Mickey Shirt.  Thought it would never happen, but you have to in Disney, right?  It's vintage!

Here at Ariel's Grotto we had a lovely (insanely expensive, but happy to pay b/c of the experience) dinner.  We saw and got autographs from all princesses except for Tiana.  Not sure where she was off to!

 Mulan is Adly's current fave.  Although the movie is a little too scary.  But, what isn't?!

Holt wanted to be in the pictures but he wasn't all that pumped about the princesses.

 This little town was so fun!  The show especially!

 Our first time at a Rain forest Cafe.  Fun!!

 The parade!  Sooo pretty!!

 Adly's is star struck!!  So many princesses!!  We saw Tiana on the float!!

 & then this again...

 World of Color was amazing!!!  Water/Light show...wow!!  Never seen anything like it.  Disney knows what they're doing.

Another great day in great weather!!

Adly Update...

1st day of Pre-K!!  I can't believe it!!  She was so excited and has 2 of her best friends in the class.

Chick Fil A teacher/student dinner! We love Hope and Mrs. Garrett!!

Update...

John did a draft where he included H & A.  It was pretty funny.  They seemed to be really into for the first 30 minutes.  He loved that.

 Look at baby Romeo.  He's sooooo sweet!! (Happy B-day, Brandie!)

 Adly and Jess had a playdate at the "beach".

 They got serious about it after a while.

 Adly started soccer!!!  She has 3 of her sweet girlfriends w/ her.  It's gonna be a great season!!
