I love...

things that remind me of my kids when they're not around...
*my keyboard being sticky b/c Holt used it w/ me today after eating an apple
*play food left on the table b/c Adly needed to "feed" her little play bunny
*watercolor art left out to dry
*a few of their dinner dishes b/c Missy didn't put them away during date night
*& little laundry pieces that need to be put away (don't necessarily love this one)
I know this sounds a little cheesy, but I'm serious...you take for granted the little things that one day you'll truly miss.

Look at this cutie table my mom and Biggin' bought for the kids. It's the perfect outside art table. They've used it every day! Thanks Mimi & Big!! We love it!!!!

Holt and Adly have really been trying at being sweet to each other...this game might actually be working. Anyway, I tried to get a little creative for their afternoon snack as a treat to say 'thanks for being sweet to each other'.

I put the PB & Dark Choc. w/ marshmallows (which were eaten first of course!), bananas & strawberries. I told them it was fondue. Yummy!!! It was very popular!

Lollipop photos...

I had their pictures taken by my favorite photographer and friend, Mary Barnett (http://www.marybarnett.com/). She's awesome! Anyway, for some of the photos she gave the kids big, colorful lollipops. They loved them of course and we got to take them home...here they are having another little taste after lunch!

Sunday trip to Cameron Duck Lodge...

Daddy is here w/ the Ranger...we're done w/ this pool!

John and I took the kids for a little day trip to Cameron. We set up a pool, rode around in the Ranger (both of them got to "drive"), played & ate lunch w/ a little dip cone at the local DQ afterwards! What a fun day!

Another fun trip to the lake...

We had a great Saturday w/ MaMa & PaPa at their lakehouse. The lake was sadly low, but the kids still had fun searching for "treasure" & trying to catch minnows. Thanks for a good time MaMa & PaPa...we'll be hoping for more rain!

They did it!!!

Holt and Adly made it to the end of the "Holt & Adly become friends" game. That means they were nice enough to each other to earn that many spots on the board to earn ice cream! We took them to BR at 1890 this afternoon. Here they are celebrating! Yay...let's just hope this keeps working. Not sure what their next goal is, but they are already halfway there!!! Hopefully the kindness isn't short lived...
